Currently, global peatland stores 2x as much carbon as all of the world’s forests combined. Unfortunately though it is also being destroyed at an unprecedented rate.

It is estimated that around 5% of global greenhouse gas emissions each year are caused by the destruction of peatland with of this damage being caused by the horticulture industry.

Here at Exubia, we’re committed to protecting peatland and the thriving ecosystem that it supports – that’s why we exclusively use 100% peat-free compost in all of our projects.
