Exubia is looking for a hard-working individual with a great eye for detail to join our growing Design team. Someone to take up each lead secured by our sales and team and put together quotes and proposals that we can install right the first time, deliver the customer’s requirements and wow each client – all with the aim of maximising our sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will be creative, have good design skills and be confident in their ability to work quickly and effectively. Reports to: Head of Sales

Location: Exubia HQ, Long Wittenham (OX14 4PT) or Exubia Showroom, London (EC1Y 0SG)

Salary: From £25,000/annum – negotiable dependent on experience.

Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme

Job Type: Permanent. Full-time. Day shift, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

– Working on incoming project enquiries

– Attending design meetings to discuss potential projects and understand budgets

– Designing biophilic solutions for a variety of projects – either from site photos, floorplans, look & feel documents, or designers’ visuals

– Working with suppliers across Europe to obtain cost prices

– Creating accurate formal quotations and specifications using Excel

– Using Photoshop/Illustrator to create design visuals

– Creating eye-catching proposals showcasing your designs whilst following brand templates using InDesign

– Keeping client files and our CRM systems organised and up to date

– Collaborating with our operations team to handover projects seamlessly for fulfilment

Someone to take up each incoming lead and, working with our Designers, exceed our customer’s requirements, wow each client and win a large percentage of work – all with the aim of maximising our profitable sales. Additionally, in time, our sales team are able to develop their own leads through effective networking and relationship building.

The ideal candidate will be driven, tenacious, have strong communication skills and be confident in their ability to work quickly, effectively and be target driven.

• Liaising with the client to understand their needs
• Briefing our Design team on the customer’s requirements
• Authorising the agreed proposal on both price and design

• Follow up with the client until the enquiry is won

– Develop relationships with clients to maximise further sales opportunities

– Support our London showrooms

– Develop new relationships within new and existing customers

– Keeping our CRM systems organised and up to date

Who are Exubia?

Starting from a back garden in 1976, we have now grown to be the chosen office planting partner of some of the world’s most respected architectural design and construction companies.

We design, create and maintain unique interior landscapes for clients in high-end office and hospitality spaces. Established for over 40 years, we care for planting in some of the most exciting offices in the UK.

What is the role?

Due to company growth, we require additional soft landscapers to maintain live plants in our clients’ offices’.

Where are you located?

We are located in Long Wittenham, just outside of Didcot. But our team come from all across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. It is important to note that the role does require early starts, so it is important you are within a commutable location.

Additionally, as the role involves visiting our clients’ offices to maintain their plants, it is essential that you are happy to drive to different site locations – predominantly in central London and the Home Counties, but occasionally anywhere within the UK.

What experience do I need?

Experience working as a horticulturist or soft landscaper would be a major advantage but is not a requirement.

A strong work ethic, professional manner, positive attitude and a UK driving license is essential for the role.
