Project Manager

Description:

We are Exubia. The chosen biophilia partner of some of the world’s most respected architectural design and construction companies. We design, create, and maintain unique biophilia enhancements for clients in high-end office and hospitality spaces.

Exubia are looking for an experienced and professional Project Manager to join our growing team. Someone to take up each project secured by our sales and design team and lead it throughout the production and installation phases, to ensure that we give no less than the very best service to every one of our clients – and are functioning with ultimate efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have good project management skills and be confident in their grounding of general practical knowledge and abilities related to basic construction/fit-out and/or landscaping.

Reports to: Head of Operations

 

Location:

Hybrid remote at Exubia HQ, Long Wittenham (OX14 4PT) or Exubia Showroom, London (EC1Y 0SG)

 

Salary:

From £40,000/annum – negotiable dependent on experience.

Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme

 

Job Type:

Permanent. Full-time.

 

Responsibilities:

– Management of new project installations to ensure that the correct products, resources, and personnel are all available and allocated in a timely manner to achieve OTIF

– When necessary, undertake pre-installation site surveys and liaise with client representatives to seek out the specific requirements and potential challenges of each installation.

– Planning and organisation of ‘production’ elements required for each project

– Ensure any RAMS documentation appropriate to each project is provided to relevant parties

– Advise the team, and help overcome any design or practically related challenges that arise within the fulfilment of new projects

– Ensure any relevant project detail is communicated to the on-going maintenance team

– Maintain a high level of operational efficiency and productivity generally within the Installation department.

– Take responsibility for Installation Health & Safety and compliance

– Team and individual performance monitoring and appraisal

 

Skills/Attributes:

– Confidently able to lead, motivate, and support the Installation team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution

– Able to represent Exubia in a professional manner within the commercial environment

– A strategic thinker, with good organisational and planning skills – and strong attention to detail

– Commercial awareness – needs to understand the importance of executing projects in the most cost-effective ways and to a budget

– One hundred per cent committed to the success of Exubia as their first and foremost consideration. Client satisfaction equals success. Deadlines and targets are of all moment

– Happy to travel to different client site locations if the need arises – predominantly in central London and the Home Counties, but sometimes anywhere within the UK. Possession of a valid UK driving license is essential.

Plant Care Technician

We design, create and maintain unique interior landscapes for clients in high-end office and hospitality spaces. Established for over 40 years, we care for planting in some of the most exciting offices in the UK.

 

What is the role?

Due to company growth, we require additional soft landscapers to maintain live plants in our clients’ offices’.

Where are you located?

We are located in Long Wittenham, just outside of Didcot. But our team come from all across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. It is important to note that the role does require early starts, so it is important you are within a commutable location.

Additionally, as the role involves visiting our clients’ offices to maintain their plants, it is essential that you are happy to drive to different site locations – predominantly in central London and the Home Counties, but occasionally anywhere within the UK.

What experience do I need?

Experience working as a horticulturist or soft landscaper would be a major advantage but is not a requirement.

A strong work ethic, professional manner, positive attitude and a UK driving license is essential for the role.
