On 10th October 2013 Exubia were invited to an initial meeting to see how we could help Macmillan Publishers attain BREEAM excellent rating, at their newly refurbished offices in Kings Cross, London.
The interior design included cabinet top planters throughout all offices. There were also a number of floor standing displays required and exterior balconies to be brought to life with plants. Exubia immediately set to, designing a scheme that would both inspire and cater for the wellbeing of Macmillan’s staff.
Having been successful in defining and fulfilling the client’s needs; the project was then handed to Exubia’s operations team. The installation journey, including 1250 plants, began!
Now installed, the venture doesn’t stop there! Exubia will continue to passionately care for and maintain Macmillan’s displays ensuring they are kept in prime condition. Our dedicated point of contact interacts closely with Macmillan to ensure all runs smoothly.
To crown it all the following words were received from our contact at Macmillan:
“This was a large project, by the time we complete next February it will be 18 Months in various stages. Throughout this “The Exubia Team” have supported us from the planning to Installation, with great attention to detail.”
“I would like to thank you and your Team for all your efforts during all our moves.”
“The first words were “DRAMATIC” when the Program Director went into the Ground Floor of PGN, so the Pain of getting the trees in has been well worthwhile.”
We have had good feedback from all buildings including “are they real” (yes) “wow that’s amazing”, “I love it here”, “This feels like a proper news room at last” and “They’ll have to use crowbars to prise us out” are just some of the comments received.
